We are coming up on a very exciting time in the PDA industry. Within the next few months there are going to be several new devices released among the various platform. According my calculations we could see anywhere from 12 - 15 new devices released within the next few months. The good news here is that the increased competition is driving down prices. Viewsonic recently announced that they will break the $300 price barrier with their Pocket PC offering, and now Toshiba is annoucning that they will be releasing their e330 with a price tag of $349.
The e330 shares many features with the already relased e310 Pocket PC. Among the notable differences are the new 300 MHz XScale processor, and the optional USB Host Cable. The USB cable will allow users to connect standard USB peripherals to their device.
